The size description is the diameter of the dog bed.  A 16" dog bed measures 16" on a straight line from one side of the bed across.  Below are our suggestions for what size you should get based on the weight of your dog.  If your dog likes to kick around and needs a little extra room we recommend going up one size.   

• 16" works well for dogs under 5.5 pounds. 

• 20" for dogs up to 11 pounds. 

• 24" for dogs up to 20 pounds. 

• 28" for dogs up to 40 pounds. 

• 31" for dogs up to 55 pounds. 

• 39" for dogs up to 88 pounds.  

✔️ How high is the Plush Doggy Dream Bed 2? 

The 16" bed is 8" high.  The 20"- 31" beds are 9" high and the 39" bed is 10" high.  

✔️ Is the Plush Doggy Dream Bed 2 machine washable? 

It is totally machine washable!  Just remove the cover and throw it in the washer on a gentle cycle with cold water only.  Tumble dry low or lay it flat and let it dry.  It won't lose it's cozy fuzziness after washing!

✔️ How does the Plush Doggy Dream Bed 2 arrive in its packaging? 

The bed is compressed in a plastic covering and will expand and fluff up once you take it out of the packaging.  Give it about 20-30 minutes to fully fluff up.
